It's finally here! Well, almost. We've been teasing you about the new Honda CR-V for months now, haven't we? But we mean it this time. The 2012 Honda CR-V is set to roll into Pflueger Honda this month! And, Honda has made some pretty impressive changes to it, we think.

Back in November, Honda unveiled the 2012 CR-V in Los Angeles. And then they unveiled an even further refreshed model at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. It officially went on sale in Japan on December 2^nd, but Honda has promised that the American-variant will go on sale around December 15^th at Honda dealerships nationwide.

The engine is very similar to the one featured in last year's CR-V. But even with the nearly-identical 185-hp (up five horses from last year), 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, the crossover gets a fuel-economy boost, 26 mpg combined city/highway, and a combined 25 mpg in the AWD model. It's also quieter, sharper-looking, and more spacious than the outgoing model. Even with the laundry list of improvements from the Japanese automaker, MSRP stays in the same range - about $21,0000-to-$30,000.

We haven't seen the new CR-V yet, but we're guessing it will be hard to decide what to love most about it. In fact, early reviews have lauded the new CR-V for its efficiency jump, cargo space, safety, handling, and available features. That pretty much covers everything, doesn't it?
