The Honda Civic has been the well-favored car in the Honda lineup for years. It gets so much love, that Honda has created enough variants of it to suit every lifestyle. So why expand this investment? Well, to start, the EPA has repeatedly said that the Natural Gas Civic has one of the cleanest burning internal combustion engines on the market. The CNG will get up to 248 miles on one fuel-up, and it will get a combined 31 mpg city/highway. Pretty impressive, especially as compressed natural gas availability continues to grow.

And of course it comes with all of the things you'd expect from Civic. Standard Bluetooth, power-everything, digital displays, and powerful performance, to boot. Oh yes, even on compressed natural gas, drivers will feel the power of the 110-hp, 1.8-liter, 16-valve, SOHC i-VTEC-engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. MSRP starts at $26,155 for the base model CNG.

So when will we see the Civic Natural Gas here in Hawaii? Well, no word on that one quite yet, but hopefully soon.
